How to Transcribe a Google Meet Recording on iPhone

1. Move the recording from Drive to Files
Open Google Drive on iPhone, find the meeting recording — Meet saves it as .webm or .mp4 — and download it; Drive's share sheet offers Save to Files directly. Once it's in Files, the recording is just another file on your phone, which is all the import step needs. If you can't find it in your Drive, check the organizer's Drive — the recording setting decides where it lands — and ask them to share the file; the import path is identical either way. How do I get the recording from Drive to Files?
Open the recording in the Google Drive app, tap the menu, and choose Download or Open in — both offer Save to Files. Meet recordings export as .webm or .mp4, and the import step accepts mp4, mov, m4v, avi, and mkv. If the recording is large, download over Wi-Fi rather than cellular; the 50 MB upload cap is rarely hit after the on-device audio extraction compresses the track.
