The honest limitations

Manual only. Each message is transcribed individually — there is no per-chat transcription yet. An auto-transcription mode has been in beta testing since January 2026.
View-only. You cannot copy, select, or export the transcript from WhatsApp.
Unreliable on hard clips. "Transcript unavailable" is common with noisy audio, forwarded messages, and clips that are very long or very short.
WhatsApp Business is flaky. Expect more failures there than in the consumer app.
